James Blunt- "Bonfire Heart"

Today I was thinking that many times homophones can give EFL learners nasty surprises (such as I/eye, die/dye, etc) and, indeed, only if they know the context they're dealing with, they can have a sudden revelation of these words' ambiguity. For this reason, I decided to work on homophones appearing in "Bonfire Heart" by James Blunt. I label today's worksheet as a useful way to improve students' vocabulary and discriminate words with similar sounds, but I recommend proposing it to learners with at least a pre-intermediate level.

Level: pre-intermediate

Grammar focus on: homophones, vocabulary

Activity: circle the right word
